Rio Branco Avenue has all the characteristics in terms of length and opportunities of transformation of the buildings to become a new Business-Commercial Corridor that will re-qualify and modernize the "Santa Cecilia" neighborhood.

This corridor will have two different sections; One with more vehicular traffic between the new station and the Avenue of the Duque de Caxias, and another with limited traffic and more attention to public transport and pedestrian space, which will penetrate the central area of the city.

Both corridors require adjoining buildings in height, ranging up to 30 floors and continuous façade in the lower floors to facilitate the appearance of commercial uses.
